**MY TWO CENTS WORTH**
December's weather continued to bode well for many Manitoban
equestrians. The nice weather has also meant our favorite equine
partners haven't endured chilling winds or super cold
temperatures. That in term should mean we are saving on hay costs. I
am very fortunate to have some great people looking after my pony
this winter. Mercydes is up at Oakbank for the winter, where I have
access to an indoor arena. She is doing really well; great hay to
eat, some friendly herd mates and the care is wonderful. The only
thing that I am dissapointed about is the number of times I got up
to ride in December. That wasn't anyone's fault but my own...darn
job/store. If the weather cooperates in January I plan to increase
the number of trips up to see her. Things have settled down in the
store so I can run away to play with my pony more often. In fact I
was up there yesterday; great to hang out at the barn.
I have vacation plans for February-March. I plan on publishing
February's newlsetter about a week early. If you have any news items
or classified ads please send them early so they can be included.
