EDITORIAL CONTENT (MY TWO CENTS WORTH)

What incredible riding weather we had in September! Hope the weather continues and we all get a chance to go for some rides out in the fields or down the trail. I skipped out of work a couple of afternoons in September so that Frisko and I could play. I was also able to make a few trips up to ride Mercydes. Mercydes is very green under saddle so I have been taking things very slow. I was impressed how she handled a 5 mile ride out down the road with Sherry & Shelley and their QH geldings. I sure enjoyed that forward thinking ride. This past weekend I decided it was time to wash and pack up the fly sheets. I have splurged on the new girl and bought her one of the Pessoa winter blankets off the latest secret deals I published this week. In the fall I love that feeling when the new fuzzy winter hair is growing. In the fall you definitely want to be deworming, an ivermectin based dewormer is good to get those nasty bott fly larvae. Check out the sale price on Panomec dewormer listed in the October Sales. Keep an eye out when riding out this fall for hunters since Archery Season has already started, next is Muzzle Loader Season. Not a bad idea to start wearing blaze orange and making lots of noise while you are out on the trail the next 2 months.

**SECRET DEAL LIST** I have a totally different subscriber's list that receive secret deals. Some months you will receive one or two deals; some months up to 5 or 6. **NEWS FROM THE REGION***

KEEN RIDGE EQUINE CENTRE: Located on the edge of the Pembina Valley, approximately 15 miles west of Morden, MB. We just started construction of a canvas structure riding arena. I hope to be in operation by mid November. The arena is going to be a fair size structure 160' x 86'. I welcome all inquiries on any discipline of horse event for arena rentals.
