EDITORIAL CONTENT (MY TWO CENTS WORTH)

Yahoo! The cast came off July 23rd.  I managed to get riding in July even with the cast on. I found that my fingers fatigued very quickly so the rides were short. Frisko was pretty out of shape by the time I got back in the saddle.  So it was a good match as far as fitness level. The wrist is not healed so I must wear a splint/brace for the next 6 weeks. I have much better mobility with it and riding is going much better. I traveled to Crystal Neudorf's at Portage on July 5th to watch some of the Parelli level 2/3 clinic. Since I couldn't be in the saddle it was good to watch others play and ride. July 16th I headed up to Birds Hill to watch the DW dressage riders camp. I so wish I could have been able to participate.  I'm ready to hit the road with my horse trailer again. I had some renovations done to it. Glen Brown up at Oak Bank did a good job. He was able to raise the roof and extend the manger to make room for my big boy. Now Frisko can travel with a stretched out neck and not worry about hitting his head. I managed to give it a fresh coat of paint on the inside and some new rubber mats. I think it will last me for many years to come.
